Payment

Session I

  • Students attending Session I need to pay ½ of their tuition fees, all registration cards, including air travel, and the medical form by Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
  • Students attending Session I must then pay their remaining tuition fees in full on or before Friday, June 3, 2022.

Session II

  • Students attending Session II need to send ½ of their tuition fees, all registration cards, including air travel, and the medical form by Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
  • Students attending Session II must then pay their remaining tuition fees in full on or before Friday, July 1, 2022.

Payment Options

Checks or money orders should be made payable to The Joseph Baldwin Academy and be sent to:

Please write the student’s name and their Banner ID# on your check or money order.

Debit, Credit Card or Electronic Check

We also accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.  If you choose to pay via credit card, the payments should be made online.  We are unable to take debit or credit card information over the phone.

There is a 2.85% convenience fee charged by TouchNet Information Systems, a secure third-party transaction vendor, when you pay with a credit card.

Tuition Refund Policy

To request a tuition refund you must email the Academy at jba@truman.edu.

 

Session I:

Up to and including June 2, 2022 at midnight: 100% tuition refund for any reason

June 3, 2022 – June 10, 2022 at midnight: 100% tuition refund for medical or family emergency*

Beginning day one of the Academy, tuition refunds will be on a pro-rated basis for medical or family emergencies only*.  The pro-rated tuition amount is: $94 per day.

Please note that tuition refunds take approximately 10 – 14 business days to process from the time of withdrawal and are issued via check.  Please also allow time for U.S. Postal Service delivery.

*Tuition refunds after the stated deadline are only for medical or family emergencies*

Please note that family activities, vacations, sports activities, events, homesickness, changes in schedule/plans, unexpected visitors, etc. are not deemed family emergencies and as such will not receive a tuition refund. All tuition refund requests must be emailed to: jba@truman.edu.

 

Tuition refunds will not be given to students who are dismissed from the Academy for disciplinary reasons.
