As we prepare for JBA 2022, you can take a look at the welcome packet from 2021 which contains all of the information and forms that were filled out for this past summer. This is your guide to all things JBA. Information about check in, check out, what to bring, rules and polices – they can be found in the Welcome Guide.
Sign up for a time to check in to JBA. Due to social distancing, we’re working to keep lines at check in as small as possible.
Some courses require textbooks, which need to be purchased prior to arrival at JBA. You purchase books online through our University Bookstore. If books become unavailable or out of stock through the University Bookstore, they can be purchased elsewhere.
NOTE: When purchasing books through the University Bookstore, select “curbside pickup” – we’ll pick them up for you and have them for you at Check In!

All students attending JBA need a Student I.D. card. Fill out the request form at least 7 days prior to your arrival at JBA. Student I.D. cards will be distributed at check in.
Your student account gives you access to campus computers, and is necessary in order to sign up for daily activities. Make sure it’s set up prior to arriving at JBA.
Let us know who your student can leave campus with by filling out this form.
A MicroFridge is a microwave-minifridge-freezer combo, and is available for students to rent. Cost is $55, paid for online.
The third Sunday of JBA, we take students to Thousand Hills State Park just outside Kirksville. Swimming, kayaking, hiking – outdoor fun awaits! Please fill out this form in order to participate.
